Welcome!

The SOSDG is a leading provider of free and low cost services to the Free/Open Source Software community, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Since the '90s, we've helped Linux kernel developers, sponsored the creation of new technology, helped average users take back their e-mail, and much more. Our popular software includes ClamAV/SOSDG for Windows, a port of the UNIX/Linux application, ClamAV, to the Win32 platform using Cygwin.

New SSL/TLS/x509 PKI Setup

Over the next few weeks, we will be moving to the new PKI backend here, which means there will be new SSL/TLS certificates on everything from the websites to smtp, imap, etc.

To make sure you are prepared, please visit our new Certs site here and download the SOSDG Root CA Level 0 certificate and import it into your keychain/certificate store.  Old certificates and the original Root CA will continue to be valid until at least Jan 1st, 2011.

Firewall/SOSDG v1.0 Coming

We're on the steady path to Firewall/SOSDG v1.0!  Over the past year, the package has grown from a simple and inflexible firewall script to something that can be used in everything from your average Linux server to a complex router with NAT support.

If you use Firewall/SOSDG, please let us know what you think!  Ideas for improvements are always welcome.

ClamAV/SOSDG Has Been Retired/Discontinued

The time has come for us to retire ClamAV/SOSDG.  It hasn't been updated in ages due to incompatibilities and lack of time and resources on our end.  We've made a steady transition to MacOS X and Linux on our systems, so building Windows specific applications is no longer feasable.

Thank you to all of our users over the years!  We appreciate your support and wish you well!

No access from China

Due to state sponsored hacking and espionage, we've implemented a policy of blocking all traffic to/from China's IP ranges at our core routers.  This block will remain in effect until China's government decides to grow up and play by the rules the rest of the world does.

If this creates a problem for you accessing our resources, then perhaps you might want to move to a less oppressive country.
