About Us

The Summit Open Source Development Group is a collection of System and Network Administrators, Open Source/Free Software Developers, Network Security Professionals, and End-Users that work together for the common good of the Internet.

With over 10 years of experience, the SOSDG has strategic partnerships with many multiple Internet Service Providers and Non-Profit orgs. These partnerships allow us to provide consulting, software, and general hosting services to the Internet community free of charge, as well as offer a higher level of service to those users/customers who require it.

Our users have access to:

  • Website hosting with LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP), Perl, Python, Ruby, and most other scripting languages.
  • E-Mail for both individual users and whole domains, includes top notch spam filtering and access to the AHBL, the SOSDG's premiere security service.
  • Open Source/Free Software project hosting with SVN, FTP, and SSH access to allow for rapid development under a Linux x86 (and in the future, MacOS X Intel).
  • Forum and mailing list hosting to enable rapid communications with end users and developers.
  • Experemental IPv6 platform in development at our Indianapolis location.
  • Inexpensive domain registration/hosting in all popular TLDs using our registration system and BIND9 platform.
